Principal Dr. Brett McDaniel

  • Dr. Brett McDaniel is a native of Tattnall County. He was born in Savannah and raised in rural Tattnall County near Collins, GA. He attended and graduated from both Reidsville High School and Georgia Southern University (GSU). While at GSU, he was a four-year letterman in baseball and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology Education. After graduating, he moved back home to begin his teaching career in Technology Education and coached two sports at Tattnall County High School. He taught for five years before returning to school to earn a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Troy State University.

    After receiving his Master’s degree in 2005, Dr. McDaniel continued to teach and coach under the CTAE banner. In 2007, he completed a specialist and doctorate degree in administration from Argosy University. He took his first job in administration and has amassed over thirteen years in leadership. Dr. McDaniel has served as Assistant Principal, Athletic Director, and CTAE Director during his tenure of administration.

    Dr. McDaniel currently resides in Jesup with his wife, Ellen and he has one daughter, Emma Kate.
